| Summary: | The 1991 national survey was conducted in El Salvador with a probability sample of 910 adult respondents in greater San Salvador. The 1993 study focused on land owners and land tenure issues, including 1161 respondents. The 1995 national survey dealt with the attitudes of El Salvadorian citizens towards elections, political tolerance, system support, local governemnts, and democracy. The national sample of 1400 respondents was distributed in all 14 of El Salvador's departments and in 46 of its 262 municipalities.
