Summary:In the Argentinian pueblo of Cerro Colorado, Florencio runs the local variety store "Casi Todo". The store is the social center of the town of 501 people. With the birth of the the town's most recent citizen, the town has just passed the population ceiling of 500 and can no longer qualify as a rural village. With this latest addition to their community, the citizens of Cerro Colorado can now ask the authorities to upgrade them to a municipality. This will mean more government services, as well as a new election. The tensions provoked by the impending election quickly leads to the murder of one of the candidates. The only thing left of the murdered politician is his finger. Florencio and the town's citizens are determined to discover who is behind this bizarre turn of events
