|a Bela Gold's artistic work of thirty years has deep roots that explore a poetic memory, particularly those from her visit to Berlin and its streets, its people and monuments, as well as her research work in the declassified archives of Auschwitz, located in the German town of Bad Arolsen. Here she checked topics, looked up names, examined photographs, researched letters and postcards. This book is the outcome of these findings and confrontations, with added voices of specialists who, from the history and criticism of art, narrative and journalism perspectives address the graphic work and the conceptual discourse of this multifaceted artist
