The impact of these events, their causes, and their aftermath continue to reverberate throughout Greensboro. The third of three public hearings of the Greensboro Truth and Reconciliation Commission took place on September 30-October 1, 2005 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The three hearings included nearly 40 hours of statements from 54 speakers representing different perspectives on the context, causes, sequence and consequence of the events of November 3, 1979
