Boyd Rice
Boyd Blake Rice (born December 16, 1956) is an American experimental sound/noise musician using the name of NON since the mid-1970s. A pioneer of industrial music, Rice was one of the first artists to use a sampler and turntable as an instrument. He is also an archivist, actor, photographer, author, member of the ''Partridge Family Temple'' religious group, co-founder of the UNPOP art movement and former staff writer for the formerly defunct but now active ''Modern Drunkard'' magazine.
